Football Italia transfer pundit Matteo Moretto says Bento ‘must be patient’ and wait for an Inter offer but warns that Premier League clubs are also interested in the Brazilian keeper.

Bento has emerged as a priority target for Serie A champions Inter, who are looking for a young option between the sticks to permanently replace Yann Sommer in 2025-26.

Inter plan to use Bento as a second-choice keeper next season, giving him time to adapt to Serie A under Sommer’s guidance.

‘Waiting game’ – transfer pundit provides Bento updates for Inter

Football Italia’s Matteo Moretto described the situation in his latest column for Caught Offside’s Daily Briefing as a ‘waiting game’. He said that Athletico Paranaense’s asking price is €20m-25m, but Inter directors have not held talks with the Brazilian club for a while.

Moretto confirms that some Premier League clubs are interested in the Brazil international but nothing has yet been defined.

The Italian transfer expert confirms Bento would like to join Inter, but he currently has to wait, given that the Serie A champions have to put together a strategy to make the deal work financially.
