The Jacksonville Jaguars have quite a few needs they have to address in the draft, as they handled free agency quite a bit, especially when you look at how the last free agency went for the team. They have had some good drafts lately, with a few players from each one being able to contribute immediately, but this draft is far more important than any they have had in the last few years.
When you look at the Jaguars' biggest needs and the positions they need to target the most in the draft, the offensive line, wide receiver, and cornerback are right up near the top. You can also add defensive tackle, edge depth, and a few others. They are in no way a perfect roster, but they can certainly get closer to becoming that in the draft.
We do know that they are interested in a cornerback who could go on day three. According to Aaron Wilson of KCPR 2, the Jaguars are to have a pre-draft visit with Florida State cornerback Jarrian Jones. Here is everything you need to know about Jones and his strengths and weaknesses:
Florida State @FSUFootball corner Jarrian Jones (6-0, 190, 4.38 speed, 39.5 vertical, 10-9 broad jump, three picks, one touchdown last season) visiting #Eagles today, per source, has visited #Dolphins #Colts #Packers did #Jaguars local day, Zooms with #Chiefs #Chargers @KPRC2

Jones is the 179th-ranked prospect on our big board, the 26th-ranked cornerback, and is projected to be a fifth-round pick. The Jaguars desperately need a cornerback, and could take one on day three in the fifth round if Jones is still available.
