David Duke Jr. is coming off a year where he appeared in 23 regular season games (and one NBA playoff game) for the Brooklyn Nets.
The 24-year-old averaged 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field.
On Thursday afternoon, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Duke Jr. will sign a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs.
Via Wojnarowski: "The San Antonio Spurs are signing G David Duke Jr., on a two-way contract, Todd Ramasar of @LifeSportsAgncy tells ESPN. Duke’s been playing for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League this season."

Duke Jr. went undrafted out of Providence in 2021 and has played two seasons in the NBA (all with the Nets).
His career averages are 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 40.3% from the field and 20.4% from the three-point range in 45 regular season games.

He has played in 11 G League games this season and is averaging 21.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest while shooting 42.9% from the field and 37.0% from the three-point range.

As for the Spurs, they are 3-20 in their first 23 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.
They are also in the middle of an 18-game losing streak.
On Friday evening, the Spurs will play their next game when they host Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The two teams faced off (also in San Antonio) on Wednesday, and the Lakers won by a score of 122-119.
