When Jaden Springer was dealt from the Philadelphia 76ers to the division rival Boston Celtics, Sixers' President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey made underwhelming comments about the 21-year-old.
"Our evaluation was that his timetable to help a playoff team is farther out than what the 2nd-round pick can do for us," Morey said.
Springer spoke about getting traded from the 76ers to the Celtics.
"I thought it was pretty good," Springer said. "Coming to a team like this, you can't go wrong. Probably the best team in the league, a bunch of great guys, great organization, and so far I'm loving it here."
When informed that Brad Stevens said he had his eye on the 21-year-old former Tennessee Volunteer for a while,
